understand how tinysend builds your sender reputation over 30 days to ensure maximum deliverability.

why warm-up matters

when you create a new list, you're establishing a new sender reputation with email providers (gmail, outlook, yahoo, apple, etc). sending too many emails too quickly from a new sender looks like spam and will hurt your deliverability.

email warm-up builds trust with email providers by gradually increasing your sending volume over time. this ensures your emails land in inboxes, not spam folders.

how it works

tinysend automatically starts a 30-day warm-up process when you create a new list. we track limits separately for each major email provider (gmail, outlook, yahoo, apple, and others):

  • days 1-2: 50 emails per provider (total ~200-250/day)
  • days 3-4: 200 emails per provider (total ~800-1000/day)
  • days 5-7: 400 emails per provider (total ~1600-2000/day)
  • days 8-10: 700 emails per provider (total ~2800-3500/day)
  • days 11-14: 1,250 emails per provider (total ~5000-6250/day)
  • days 15-17: 2,500 emails per provider (total ~10k-12.5k/day)
  • days 18-21: 4,500 emails per provider (total ~18k-22.5k/day)
  • days 22-25: 8,750 emails per provider (total ~35k-43.7k/day)
  • days 26-30: unlimited

per-provider limits

we track your sending separately for each email provider because gmail, outlook, yahoo, and apple each track your sender reputation independently. this means:

  • if you have 1000 gmail subscribers on day 1, you can only email 50 of them
  • but you can also email 50 outlook, 50 yahoo, and 50 apple subscribers the same day
  • this protects your reputation with each provider individually

what happens if i exceed the limit?

if you try to send more emails than your daily limit allows for any provider, tinysend will:

  • block the send and show you an error message with per-provider details
  • send you an email notification explaining which provider limits you hit
  • tell you how many emails you can still send to each provider today
  • remind you that your limits will reset tomorrow

example: if you try to send to 500 gmail subscribers on day 1 (limit: 50), we'll block the send and show "gmail: need 500, have 50 remaining".

you can schedule publications in advance and they'll automatically send when capacity becomes available.

best practices during warm-up

  • send emails consistently - daily or every few days is better than sporadic bursts
  • start with your most engaged subscribers to build positive signals
  • monitor your open and click rates - high engagement helps build reputation faster
  • avoid spam complaints - make it easy for people to unsubscribe
  • use a custom sender domain for better reputation control (optional but recommended)

tracking progress

your list dashboard shows your current warm-up status with:

  • current day (x/30)
  • daily sending limit per provider
  • emails sent today per provider (gmail, outlook, yahoo, apple, other)
  • remaining capacity for each provider

after warm-up completes

after 30 days, the warm-up restrictions are automatically removed and you can send unlimited emails (subject to your plan limits). the warm-up banner will disappear from your dashboard.
